Rotary Drilling

Fast and Agile

We've just purchased a Geoprobe Drillmax DM250 rotary rig. This new rig will allow us to fullfill our desire to provide access to clean reliable water to more Kansans on a faster timetable. Rotary rigs drill significantly faster than cable-tool rigs and they offer a number of modern advantages in the areas of safety and maneuverability. They also allow us to drill in softer formations that the cable-tool has more dificulty drilling in, such as sand.

Cable-Tool Drilling

Efficient and Reliable

Cable-tool drilling may not be the fastest drilling method, but it offers unparalleled reliability and uses less water than rotary drilling. This makes it ideal for projects where water conservation and the ability to reliably create a reasonably productive well are top priorities. Cable-tool drilling is a form of percussion drilling. The percussion drilling method has been used for thousands of years. Although modern cable-tool rigs are more complex, they still operate on the same principles that were invented during the Han Dynasty in China 2,000 years ago.

Expansion

Growing Together

Our expansion plans involve reaching new markets and communities, offering our specialized services to a wider audience. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we aim to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional well drilling solutions.

We are now accepting rotary rig well drilling requests for residents of Douglas, Shawnee, Johnson, as well as northern Osage and northern Franklin counties for spring and summer of 2026.
